  1. The 23rd Commonwealth Law Conference was inaugurated in Goa on 6 March, 2023 by Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai.
  2. Supreme Court Judge Justice V. Ramasubramanian on 5 March, 2023 released a book titled ‘India’s Struggle for Independence- Gandhian Era’.
  3. Tiruchirapalli Airport is rated best in the Asia Pacific region, as per ASQ Awards 2022 by the Airports Council International (ACI) on 6 March, 2023.
  4. The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela is organized every year by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and this year it was held in New Delhi from 2 to 4 March, 2023.
  5. Reserve Bank of India on 6 March 2023, launched the Mission ‘Har Payment Digital’ on the occasion of Digital Payments Awareness Week (DPAW) 2023.
  6. The Indian Air Force (IAF) participated in Exercise Shinyuu Maitri with the Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF). The Exercise Shinyuu Maitri was organized on the sidelines of the Indo-Japan Joint Army Exercise, Dharma Guardian, which was conducted from 13 February, 2023 to 2 March, 2023 at Komatsu, Japan.
  7. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on 5 March 2023, unveiled the ‘Laadli Behna’ Yojana, under which qualified women will get 1,000 rupees every month in support.  
  8. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) Award 2022 for ‘Best Contribution in Solar Energy’.

  10. Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated a two-day Regional Conference on Good Governance Practices in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on 6 March, 2023.
  11. The United Nations (UN) inked the first ‘High Seas Treaty’ in a bid to protect the ocean bodies of the world that lie outside the national boundaries and form almost two-thirds of the world’s oceans.
  12. S.S. Dubey took charge as the 28th Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India on 6 March, 2023.  
  13. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal inaugurated first session of Massmerize 2023 in New Delhi on 6 March, 2023.
  14. Attukal Pongala, one of the largest festivals of women in the world, began in the Kerala capital Thiruvananthapuram on 7 March, 2023.
  15. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the four year Bachelor Science Degree in Electronics Systems at IIT Madras on 6 March, 2023.
  16. Renowned Bengali novelist, short story writer and the creator of the famous ‘Pandav Goenda’ (five detectives) series, Sasthipada Chattopadhyay passed away on 3 March, 2023 at the age of 82.
